News: Convicted Bundle

Fans of large hard drives and spy games rejoice. Ubisoft, in conjunction with Microsoft, has just announced the Xbox 360 Splinter Cell Conviction Special Edition Bundle. The bundle consists of one Xbox 360 Elite console, a 250GB HDD, 2 wireless controllers, and a standard edition of Splinter Cell Conviction. Available in April, the bundle will be hitting North America, New Zealand, Australia, and Europe for the retail price of $399. Sounds like Ubisoft is confident in its game to be a system seller, lets hope they're right.

News: PS3 now back in action!

It is now safe to turn your beloved Sony console on. Posted on the Playstation Blog just hours ago, was the following statement, "We are aware that the internal clock functionality in the PS3 units other than the slim model, recognized the year 2010 as a leap year. Having the internal clock date change from February 29 to March 1 (both GMT), we have verified that the symptoms are now resolved and that users are able to use their PS3 normally." Followed by "We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.".

So in all, the lock down of the Playstation Network and chubby PS3s across the globe, lasted less than a full day. Seems Sony's console is very much self aware. I wonder if it watches me while I eat my cereal in front of it? Creepy.

News: Playstation Error!

Playstation Network is currently down for all pre-slim PS3s. Sony has confirmed the error to be a hardware failure with the systems internal clock. They suggest leaving your PS3 off for a full 24 hours, while a fix is being worked on. Just my luck, on the day I go to pick up Heavy Rain. Get it together sony!
