Call of Duty: Black Ops Blows Over Modern Warfare 2 Sales!

(Courtesy of Activision/Treyarch)

Kotaku is reporting sales figures for Call of Duty: Black Ops and they are huge! 5.6 million copies of the game have been sold making for about $360 million. This eclipses sales for last years most successful entertainment launch of 2009, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 which sold 4.7 Million copies amounting to $310 million. I'd say Activision CEO Bobby Kotick is pretty smug right now.

At a recent Major League Gaming tournament, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 was show to the public in a test phase. What was show was a little of the character swapping in mid battle which amount to double team moves. The animation looks slick and the transition from one character to another looks fluid.
