Tekken is undeniably one of the most well know video game fighters of all time. With the recent announcement of the Street Fighter X Tekken and Tekken X Street Fighter games in development, now seems like the perfect time for Bandai Namco to show off the latest entry in the Tekken franchise. The Trailer shows 2 new characters, one being a Lucha Libre character whose name has yet to be revealed, and the other bing a much younger Heihachi Mishima. I personally am pretty pumped to be able to play as Heihachi in his younger state. It did seem a little unrealistic that an old dude like that could still hold his own in the ring, but Tekken isn't about realism now is it?
Tekken Tag Tournament is slated for Japan arcades in 2011. Theres been no word on the possibility of a console version as of yet. I'd say its a safe bet that Tag 2 might make it into homes before fall 2012. I've also been wrong before.
