Rumor Has It: AvatarKinect.

Posed earlier on GlimpseDog.com, two images have surfaced of a new announcement at CES 2011 from Microsoft.  It appears that Microsoft will be dropping in a possible update to the 360 console to enable the use of AvatarKinect in the coming months.  What is AvatarKinect?  That's the million dollar question that absolutely everyone is looking to find out!

Early speculations suggest that the program is going to be in the realm of Nintendo's "Mii" or Sony's "Home" software, in which you will be able to interact with other user's avatars using the Kinect hardware in a lobby.  In this lobby you will be enabled to view common videos, and hopefully launch into game titles together using a system similar to the "party" system XBL already has in use.

Only time can tell what Microsoft really has in mind with this update, but look forward to the full report as ROQ keeps you up to date in the coming week with CES 2011.
